Guy Laroche began his career in 1949 in Millinery. He worked for Jean DessЏs and later on became his assistant. Then in 1955, he went to US to research for new ways how to manufacture ready-to-wear garments which paved way for him to find a high-fashion aterlier Franklin Roosevelt, Paris. His first collection was greatly accepted by the Parisian women which includes bright colors like pink, orange, topaz, coral and turquoise. In 1966, he introduced Fidji as his first women's fragrance and other scents too. Also, he began to design men's ready-to-wear clothes for men and eventually open Guy Laroche Monsieur boutique.
